Sarah Boldbat is a California Certified Public Accountant specializing in tax preparation, tax planning, advisory services, IRS representation, and multi-state taxation for individuals and businesses nationwide.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Accountancy from California State University, Los Angeles and began her accounting career in the early 2010s, obtaining her California CPA license in 2020.

During her senior year at CSULA, Sarah represented the university in the International Collegiate Business Strategy Competition (ICBSC), where her team earned first place.

Sarah’s career progressed rapidly through increasingly advanced tax and accounting roles including bookkeeping, tax preparation, tax review, and tax management. Early in her career, she developed a reputation for efficiency, adaptability, and the ability to quickly master complex tax matters. Over the years, she has worked with a wide range of individual and business tax situations, including multi-state filings, entity taxation, tax resolution matters, IRS audits, and proactive tax planning strategies.

While working as a Tax Manager in Woodland Hills, California, Sarah recognized the growing impact technology and AI would have on the accounting profession. As an early adopter of AI-driven workflows and automation systems, she saw an opportunity to build a modern CPA firm designed around responsiveness, efficiency, accuracy, and a more streamlined client experience.

As the accounting profession continues through a major generational transition, with a large portion of the CPA profession made up of Baby Boomers nearing retirement, Sarah built LA CPA Inc with a modern and long-term approach focused on technology, responsiveness, and evolving client needs.

Sarah believes modern technology, when properly implemented and professionally supervised, can improve efficiency, strengthen review processes, reduce repetitive manual work, and help minimize avoidable human errors — allowing more time to focus on strategy, planning, and personalized client guidance.

About Us

Sarah is currently pursuing the CFP® designation to further expand her advisory and financial planning expertise. The combination of CPA and CFP® knowledge allows for a more integrated approach to financial decision-making, where tax strategy and long-term financial planning are evaluated together rather than separately.

Many individuals work with both a CPA and a financial advisor, but the two professionals often operate independently and may not always coordinate strategies in real time. By combining tax expertise with financial planning knowledge, Sarah aims to help clients make more connected and tax-efficient decisions involving retirement planning, business strategy, investments, cash flow, entity structure, and long-term financial goals.

This integrated approach can help clients identify planning opportunities earlier, reduce communication gaps between advisors, and create strategies that align both tax efficiency and long-term financial objectives — a relatively uncommon combination within the profession.

Clients appreciate Sarah’s responsive communication style, practical mindset, and ability to explain complex tax and financial concepts using simpler, real-life language that is easier to understand and apply.
